Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (weekends only)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons across General, Robotics, Ortho, and Neuro specialties
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Scrub in for a variety of cases including Davinci Xi robotics and ION procedures
Collaborate with a close-knit team that feels like family
Float to support ortho cases or serve as a 1:1 sitter when needed
Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

Current CST or NCCT certification
BLS certification required
North Dakota UAP registration
At least 1 year of OR experience in either General/Robotics or Ortho/Neuro
Comfortable with Davinci Xi, ION Robot, and Stryker towers
Willingness to float and cross-train in additional specialties

Knowledge & Skills

Strong surgical scrubbing techniques
Robotics assistance experience
Open belly and GYN case familiarity
Total joints, sports medicine, and neuro-spinal procedures
Ability to respond to 15-minute call windows
Team-oriented mindset with a family-like approach to care
