Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (weekends only)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for a variety of surgical cases including Ortho, Neuro, General, and Robotics
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons and the OR team during cases to deliver excellent patient care
Float to different specialties and support the unit as a 1:1 sitter when needed
Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

Current CST or NCCT certification
BLS certification required
ND UAP registration
At least 1 year of OR experience in Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics
Willingness to float and cross-train in multiple specialties

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with DaVinci Xi and ION Robot systems
Experience with Stryker towers and open belly procedures
Strong understanding of surgical scrubbing and sterile technique
Ability to respond to call within 15 minutes
