Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, and general surgery cases
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure seamless procedures
Adapt quickly to varied daily surgical schedules and patient needs
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to strengthen team performance
Maintain strict safety standards and follow all facility protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90 percent or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic systems
Broad knowledge of OR procedures across multiple specialties
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Flexibility to handle varied case loads daily
