Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from a centralized command center
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
Accurately interpret EKG readings and take appropriate action to notify local RN staff
Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics through vigilant monitoring

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating job knowledge
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting assignment
Ability to work 2-3 days of day shift orientation for night shift positions
Strong candidates may have 3 months of education waived

Strong attention to detail in high-volume monitoring environments
