Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Triage obstetric patients and support high-risk pregnancies with compassion
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries while ensuring excellent outcomes
Float to sister units like NICU, Peds, or Med-Surg when needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license and 3 years of LDRP experience
BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), and STABLE certifications
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips
Willingness to scrub for C-sections is a plus
Open to first-time travelers who are ready to jump right in

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines and obstetric best practices
Experience with common OB medications and emergency response
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity LDRP setting
Excellent communication and teamwork across OB, Neo, and Anesthesia teams
