Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with weekend and holiday requirements, 18 hours of call per 6 weeks in 6-hour increments

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk L&D setting
Circulate in the OR for C-sections, ensuring safety and smooth procedures
Titrate critical drips like oxytocin and magnesium sulfate with precision and care
Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret strips to support the best outcomes
Float to postpartum when needed, extending your impact across the mother-baby journey
Collaborate with surgical techs, anesthesia, and APPs in a Level III NICU environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
Proven ability to circulate C-sections in the operating room
Experience with fetal monitoring and titrating drips

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
Circulating in the OR for C-sections
High-risk antepartum and intrapartum care
Floating comfortably between L&D and postpartum
