Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at least every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult behavioral health patients in a 26-bed inpatient unit
Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 while delivering personalized treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients aged 55+ with conditions like dementia and bipolar disorder
Monitor patient safety and respond appropriately in a unit equipped with a seclusion room
Float to med-surg and OB units when needed, bringing your versatile skills to different patient populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact state
BLS certification required
Experience floating outside of psych highly preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Behavioral health nursing expertise
Strong assessment and de-escalation skills
Flexibility to float between units
Commitment to patient-centered care
