Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate total nursing care for an assigned group of residents during each shift
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Mentor and support nursing staff while serving as a resource for the unit
- Collaborate with the Director to achieve department goals and quality outcomes
- Provide compassionate education to patients and families about care and recovery
- Step in administratively to keep the unit running smoothly when the Director is away
Qualifications
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Charge nurse or leadership experience is a plus
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (2-year college)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and care planning abilities
- Comfortable stepping into a Charge Nurse leadership role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care
