Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-27-2026

End Date: 08-26-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac imaging, SPECT scans, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies with precision and care
Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout every procedure
Document imaging studies accurately using Radnet and Merge Unity systems

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable floating to nearby facility when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac imaging and SPECT expertise
Bone scan and bleed study proficiency
Gastric emptying study experience
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
