Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including med-surg, telemetry, and ICU
Deliver specialized care to ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Treat diverse patient populations including ortho, total joints, oncology, and cardiology cases
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
ICU and ventilated patient therapy experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records
Ability to work independently with diverse patient populations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working with ventilated patients in ICU settings
