Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques to help physicians make accurate diagnoses
• Administer x-radiation safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients comfortably while ensuring their safety throughout every procedure
• Administer contrast media and maintain IV access with care and precision
• Collaborate with radiologists by documenting patient history and ensuring all information is ready for interpretation
• Provide patient education and reassurance, helping reduce anxiety during imaging procedures
• Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and contribute to supply decisions that keep the department running smoothly
• Mentor students and new team members, sharing your expertise to support the next generation of technologists

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program - Education verification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography and Radiography expertise
• Strong patient care and positioning skills
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and contrast administration
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call needs
• Commitment to patient safety and universal protocol
