Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with personalized, age-appropriate therapy plans
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to set goals and remove barriers to discharge
Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
Monitor program effectiveness and develop new initiatives to improve outcomes
Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in a supportive, collaborative environment
Document evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist licensed by the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy
OTR/L certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Experience working with interdisciplinary care teams
Ability to supervise and mentor OTAs effectively
Comfortable using EMR systems such as Point Click
