Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third day shift and every other night shift, holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
• Cover inpatient areas throughout the entire hospital
• Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and fellow respiratory therapists
• Adapt quickly to varying patient care needs and acuity levels each day
• Maintain flexibility while floating to different hospital areas as an RT

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must live outside the 50-mile radius from the facility
• Cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Experience with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
• Proficiency with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs
• Familiarity with Airvo2 high-flow systems
