Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Support moms and babies through every stage from admission to discharge
Collaborate with a tight-knit team where every nurse backs up the others
Float as a helping hand to other units when the census shifts
Respond quickly when the unit goes from quiet to full-speed in minutes

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong independent skills in L&D, postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Comfortable working with minimal support and jumping between assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring with Central monitoring system
Titration of induction and critical drips
Stabilization and transfer of neonates using vent and Bubble CPAP
AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
Quick adaptation between busy and slow census days
