Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive environment
Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision alongside the surgical team
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
Support families through the beautiful journey of birth while honoring their unique birth plans
Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units to deliver seamless continuity of care
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call specialists to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active California RN license
2 years of recent L&D/PP experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Experience circulating C-sections is essential
Travel experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation using Fetal Link system
Comfortable with Cerner electronic medical records
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines and high-risk deliveries
Ability to support patients 34 weeks and above with individualized care plans
