Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Start Date: 08-03-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with rotating weekday and weekend call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the general OR setting
Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including robotic, neuro, and ortho surgeries
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes
Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to facility protocols
Float to Genesis surgery centers as needed to support staffing

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license in hand required
Minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with robotic, neuro, and ortho surgery preferred
Epic EMR proficiency preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of surgical and perioperative nursing practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating census and call requirements
