Location: Sugar Land, TX

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating days including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Support patients and families with education and emotional care

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Ability to perform rapid assessments and make quick decisions
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
Skill in using emergency equipment such as defibrillators and ventilators
