Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
Provide evidence-based emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Direct and mentor non-RN staff including LPNs and PCTs
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

1+ years of Emergency Department experience required
Active Ohio or Compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association
Ability to float to all units within skill level

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing assessment and intervention
Critical thinking and rapid decision-making in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and trauma care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
