Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Negotiable, typically 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, plus one weekday call per week and one weekend (Friday-Sunday) call per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing duties for open heart procedures and assist with closing chests
Handle a variety of complex cardiac cases including open heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries
Circulate and scrub in a high-volume CVOR suite averaging 30 cases per day
Collaborate with a dedicated team of surgeons, techs, and nurses in a state-of-the-art 16-suite OR
Float to general OR as needed when CVOR volume is low
Participate in on-call coverage for weekday and weekend emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (NLC preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred)
Minimum 1-2 years of CVOR experience with open heart and endovascular cases
Proven scrubbing skills for cardiac procedures
Comfortable with Epic EMR
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes (call room available on-site)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in open heart and endovascular surgical techniques
Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced OR environment
Knowledge of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
