Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert post-operative cardiac surgery care to patients on advanced devices including ECMO, Centrimag, and HM3 LVADs
Monitor patients with PA catheters and perform precise hemodynamic assessments
Collaborate with a 24/7 intensivist and a driven team of surgeons and nurses
Respond swiftly to emergencies and assist with procedures such as central line and swan insertions and intubations
Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing in a 16-bed CVICU recognized for excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of strong critical care experience with CVICU background
Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
Skilled in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
Experience using Meditech documentation system
Ability to care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
Strong teamwork and adaptability when floating to other ICU units
