Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire or compact eligible
A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
Current BLS certification
Comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including geriatrics

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises and modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing patient needs
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
