Location: Los Angeles, CA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift (exact start/end times not specified), with on-call weekends (1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
Assist physicians during interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Cerner EMR system
Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and position them correctly
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current ARRT-VI certification
Active California Radiologic Technologist License
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Fluoroscopy permit
Experience in interventional radiology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and fluoroscopic imaging
Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
