Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing assistance to patients in a mental health setting
Assist with tele-presenting and remote patient monitoring as needed
Perform medical assistant duties including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
Active Medical Assistant (MA) certification or diploma
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in CNA and MA procedures
Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced mental health environment
Familiarity with tele-presenting technology is a plus
