Start Date: 06-30-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, typically 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to residents
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident comfort
Support residents with meals, personal hygiene, and grooming
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility is a plus
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
Basic computer skills for documentation
Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
