Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with precision and compassion to aid early detection
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment following manufacturer and safety protocols
• Ensure image quality and accurate documentation in accordance with ACR and MQSA standards
• Conduct mammography quality assurance activities and report any equipment or image concerns
• Provide an exceptional patient experience—explain procedures, ensure comfort, and address questions
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient, high-quality care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with Advanced Mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and mammography equipment operation
• Strong knowledge of ACR and MQSA standards and imaging documentation
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
