Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct the hospital’s operations during evenings, nights and weekends, ensuring safe, efficient patient care
• Oversee inpatient units and coordinate with ancillary and support departments that operate during your shift
• Act as a clinical role model—make prompt, high-quality decisions in urgent and complex situations
• Support and coach staff through change, fostering consistency, fairness and strong teamwork
• Manage multiple intense activities calmly and prioritize resources to maintain smooth operations
• Handle staffing oversight and daily operational decisions, including conflict resolution when needed
• Maintain dependable presence and work ethic to motivate and guide clinical teams during non-day hours

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (must be uploaded with profile)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN) is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of successful leadership/supervisory experience (required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Demonstrated experience in critical care, emergency/trauma and acute care operations
• Proven conflict resolution skills and at least one supervisory signed reference from the past two years (required)
• Working knowledge of staffing systems (preferred)
• Traveler must have own vehicle and include permanent address and any RTO in profile prior to submission

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — required
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field — desirable but not required
