Shift Type: Per diem nights (schedule varies), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Red Rocks Care Center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
Perform patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
Respond promptly to resident needs and urgent situations during your shift

Qualifications

Active LPN license in New Mexico or compact state eligibility as required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Completion of an accredited Practical Nurse program (diploma or certificate)
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on night shifts

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program; LPN diploma or certificate required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and infection control procedures
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Electronic medical record charting and documentation
Time management and prioritization in overnight clinical settings
Teamwork, empathy, and clear resident-family communication
