Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and policy
Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and response to care
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to coordinate patient needs
Maintain accurate charting and comply with facility documentation standards
Support infection control and safety practices to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in New Mexico required
Minimum clinical experience in a similar care setting is preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification recommended
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Ability to handle 12.5-hour day shifts and maintain patient focus throughout

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing training

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Electronic medical record documentation
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
Professional bedside manner and patient education skills
