Shift Type: Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Sandia Ridge Center area
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes to the care team
Document care thoroughly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to develop and follow care plans
Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and safety
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - current and in good standing
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to work the assigned schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, early mornings into evenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Local candidates preferred (LOCAL ONLY)

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN program; high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Comfortable with patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
Familiarity with long-term care workflows and safety protocols
