Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor and report patient changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Support resident activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Eligible to practice in New Mexico (local candidates preferred)
- Comfortable working the scheduled early-morning to evening day shifts (Sun–Tue)
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to work within a team-based care environment
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or vocational nursing certificate
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
