Shift Type: Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (day)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and follow established care plans safely
Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
Perform wound care and basic clinical procedures within scope of practice
Communicate clearly with patients and families, offering education and reassurance
Maintain timely, accurate electronic and paper documentation

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Experience in long-term care or med-surg settings is a plus
Local candidate preferred; position is local only
Strong communication, time management and teamwork skills

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medication administration and basic pharmacology
Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and patient assessment
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Understanding of infection control practices and patient safety
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Compassionate patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
