Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and record vital signs, patient status, and progress notes in the medical record
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Assist with ADLs and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the shift
Report changes in patient condition promptly and participate in care planning
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up needs

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting is a plus
Ability to work the assigned Sunday, Monday, Tuesday daytime shifts
Local candidates preferred (Notes: LOCAL ONLY)

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation skills
Comfortable with patient assessment and reporting clinical changes
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and providers
Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy care setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard nursing procedures
