Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents and patients during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to facility policy
• Perform focused patient assessments and report changes to the care team promptly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation and handoffs
• Follow infection control practices and promote a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Comfortable working night shifts and covering every other weekend as scheduled
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to safely lift and transfer patients as needed and follow facility policies

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Patient assessment and monitoring overnight
• Charting in electronic medical records
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical team
