Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and families
• Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Support patient comfort and safety during the night and coordinate handoffs

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical RN experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently on night shift and escalating concerns when needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage multiple patients overnight
• Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and patients' families
