Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and observe changes in condition
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and hygiene needs
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and communicate relevant updates to the nursing team
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• California state certification or eligibility to work in California
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Comfortable working overnight/night shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
