Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process and document findings to guide care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and safety
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Interpret diagnostic tests and collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to support outcomes
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, efficient care delivery

Qualifications

• Current California RN license (required)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (required)
• Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS (required)
• Experience in acute care nursing preferred (clinical experience in similar settings a plus)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Patient assessment and acute care management
• Medication administration and safe practices
• Interpretation of diagnostic tests to inform care decisions
• Care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Patient and family education techniques
• Familiarity with performance improvement and quality initiatives
