Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy services, creating individualized plans of care
• Perform thorough evaluations and monitor patient progress with clear clinical reasoning
• Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional mobility retraining
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and injury prevention
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and maintain compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Montana or eligible for Montana licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Demonstrated experience in clinical PT practice; travel/contract experience a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
• Proficient with patient assessment, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
• Comfortable using standard modalities and adaptive equipment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical charting/EMR systems
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
