Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and ensure basic comfort needs are met
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and document patient status and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
• Help maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active/state-certified CNA license in California (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and documentation
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate clinical observations clearly
• Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and ADLs
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
