Shift Type: Thursday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms vigilantly to detect changes early
Assess and document patient conditions clearly and compassionately
Administer medications and treatments safely following facility protocols
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Respond swiftly to clinical changes and participate in emergency interventions
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Clinical experience in telemetry nursing (telemetry experience preferred)
Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working overnight shifts and managing acutely ill patients

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition
Skilled patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
Familiarity with cardiac meds and basic IV therapy
Clear documentation and effective communication with care teams
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
