Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients during overnight hours
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Perform and document vital signs and basic observations accurately
Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to nurses and the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital signs, patient observation, and basic charting
Skilled in safe patient handling and assisting with mobility
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
Good interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions
Reliable time management and the ability to work autonomously overnight
