Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: West Jordan, UT
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Rotating day schedule; Day shifts 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; includes a couple of evenings per week and every-other-weekend on-call

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including cath, intervention, IR, and neuro thrombectomy cases
- Prepare patients and necessary equipment, assist the interventional team during procedures, and monitor hemodynamics throughout
- Utilize Phillips imaging systems and Merge hemodynamics/CPACS for accurate intra-procedure support and documentation
- Thoroughly document patient care in Epic, ensuring charting accuracy and continuity of care
- Respond to STEMI activations as part of an accredited STEMI center, delivering rapid, decisive care when minutes matter
- Participate in on-call rotation for weekends and evening coverage, providing dependable support to the unit and team
Qualifications
- Active RN license eligible for submission
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (cardiac/cath lab or acute care experience preferred)
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities (every-other-weekend + some evenings)
- Ability to complete a brief orientation (12 hours) and adapt to cath lab workflows
Education
- Associate degree/diploma in Nursing or equivalent (BSN not required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong acute care and cardiac cath lab knowledge
- Familiarity with Philips imaging systems and Merge hemodynamics/CPACS
- Proficient Epic charting skills
- Excellent critical thinking, situational awareness, and team communication
- Ability to manage high-acuity patients and rapidly escalate concerns
