Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as vital signs, documentation, and patient observations
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance following facility protocols
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with infection control practices and maintain a clean patient environment

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Valid immunizations and TB testing per facility requirements
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care and work well in a team
• Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and ADL support
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety principles
• Ability to follow care plans and facility policies consistently
