Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess critically ill patients continuously and prioritize needs for the best outcomes
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on ongoing assessments
• Provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring and manage hemodynamic instability
• Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and respond to life-threatening emergencies promptly
• Manage airway and ventilation needs and intervene to maintain patient stability
• Assist with temporary pacemaker insertion and coordinate ambulance transport when required
• Maintain and update clinical skills and participate in mandatory education and competency activities

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and registration appropriate for practice (facility licensure requirements must be met)
• Experience in critical care settings (ICU and/or PCU) with demonstrated competency
• Familiarity with AACN standards and evidence-based critical care practices
• Comfort and experience with hemodynamic monitoring, airway management, and arrhythmia recognition
• Experience with EPIC preferred; background with Meditech is also relevant
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts and participate in required training/competency events
