Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. No weekends required unless holiday coverage.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate home health nursing care to patients in their homes, promoting health and independence.
Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in patient care decisions.
Supervise and delegate to other healthcare personnel as needed.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of acute nursing care experience (hospital setting preferred)
Experience in home health nursing required
Certified Home Health with OASIS proficiency
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
BSN highly preferred; infusion therapy certification a plus
Willingness to be flexible with work hours and accept on-call responsibilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to supervise and coordinate care
Proficient in record keeping and documentation
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to drive in inclement weather
Dependable and flexible with a history of meeting work schedule demands
