Shift Type: Weekdays, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours guaranteed, no weekends, no on-call

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions such as exercise, massage, gait and balance training to help patients regain mobility and function
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting outcomes to supervising physical therapists
Collaborate with the therapy team to implement personalized treatment plans
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Active Texas or compact Physical Therapist Assistant license
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient care techniques
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to assist in gait training, balance training, and manual therapy
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
