Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical and functional status, including muscle function, motor skills, and neurological status
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, modalities, therapeutic exercise, and splinting
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pain management, safety, and functional strategies
Document initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with rehab policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes
Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and driver's assessments as needed

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (AOTA)
Active Montana Occupational Therapist license
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Two years of hospital (inpatient/outpatient) OT experience preferred
Completion of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire

Education

Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Sound clinical judgment and professional demeanor
Ability to work in a busy, stressful environment with creativity and problem-solving
Self-directed with strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in manual therapy, modalities, splinting, and neurological rehabilitation
Experience with outpatient orthopedic and neurological populations
