Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions, reporting changes to the RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Document patient care and observations in electronic health records
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
Minimum of 6 months of recent LPN experience in a long-term care or similar setting
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of state regulations and nursing home standards
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
