Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, various days as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to elderly residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene
Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions
Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in the state of Maryland
Current CPR certification preferred
Previous long-term care experience is a plus, but we welcome new grads too
Bring a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
Time management and organizational abilities
Basic computer skills for documentation
