Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Canyon Trans Rehab Center
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status throughout night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the patient record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Support safe patient transitions and handoffs at shift change to maintain continuity

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (able to work in New Mexico for this assignment)
• Experience as a Travel RN or working in short-term contract assignments is a plus
• Availability for night assignments on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Comfortable providing care in a rehabilitation/transitional care setting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Clear, timely documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Medication administration and safe practice
• Team communication and handoff proficiency
• Ability to prioritize and triage during busy night shifts
