Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging with precision and patient-centered care
• Ensure patient safety by applying radiation protection principles and proper positioning
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and clinical staff to deliver timely results
• Accurately document procedures and manage imaging records in PACS
• Provide compassionate patient education and support during imaging procedures
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography or registry-eligible candidates considered
• Current state radiologic technologist license or ability to obtain licensure in Georgia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable performing a range of diagnostic imaging exams and following protocols
• Professional communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography program completion, or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and radiology information systems
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Ability to handle urgent studies and prioritize workflow efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Good interpersonal skills for working with diverse patient populations
